After breakfast, depart Arusha at 8:00 am and drive approximately two hours to Tarangire National Park. Famous for its massive elephant herds, ancient baobab trees, and the seasonal Tarangire River, the park offers a great introduction to Tanzania’s wildlife. During your game drive, you may spot giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, impalas, warthogs, lions, and leopards. Enjoy a picnic lunch inside the park, then continue game viewing as you drive to Fig Trees Lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

After an early breakfast at 6:00 am, depart for the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and descend into the Ngorongoro Crater with a packed breakfast. Spanning 20km in diameter, the crater hosts an incredible variety of wildlife, including elephants, lions, zebras, hippos, and, with luck, the rare black rhino. Spend 5–6 hours exploring the crater floor and enjoy a picnic lunch inside the crater. In the late afternoon, ascend from the crater and return to Fig Trees Lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

After breakfast, drive to Lake Manyara National Park for a morning game drive. The park is famous for its tree-climbing lions, large flocks of flamingos, hippos, and abundant birdlife. Explore its forests, grassy plains, and soda lake shores. After a picnic lunch in the park, depart for Arusha, arriving in the late afternoon and marking the end of your safari.
